Worship and Music
At COGOP Knowle West music and singing make up a large part of our corporate worship. We believe however, that worship is more than just singing. Worship takes place in every area of our lives as we live to please God.
During our worship services we aim to spend time in the presence of God as we participate in singing and prayer and we encourage our visiting friends to do the same.
During the summer months we often share our worship outside of the church building on a Saturday morning and have even been known to have our Sunday worship on the green outside of the church building.
The worship band is currently mentoring a young band of musicians of primary and secondary school ages. The youth band is made up of keyboardists, a drummer, percussionist, guitarist and bass guitarist. These youngsters have already begun to perform in front of audiences and with nurturing will soon be playing in our church services.
Copies of the COGOP Knowle West CD titled “He’ll Always Be There” are available for purchase at £6 per copy. The CD is a short compilation of gospel songs written by various members of the fellowship.
